Planning permission has just been granted for a new hotel in Liverpool, opposite the waterfront site of Everton Football Club’s proposed Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.
Plans envisage converting a three-storey warehouse into a nine-bedroom boutique hotel. The plan also involves the remodelling of roof space to add an extra floor with the hotel dining room in the basement area.
Building work on the new 52,888-seater stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is expected to start this summer with the possibility of Everton FC kicking off the 2024-25 season in its new home.
Both the new stadium and proposed hotel will be situated within the World Heritage Buffer Zone.
