Starting this autumn, the 35 hotel-strong Jurys Inn portfolio is set to be rebranded as Leonardo Hotels. All the hotels will undergo a refurbishment package to bring them into line with the current Leonardo branding.
Jurys Inns are part of the Fattal Hotel Group which also includes the Nyx lifestyle brand. The rebranding operation will allow the group to open multiple hotels in key cities under the various Leonardo sub-brands.
Currently the group has 16 properties in the UK and Ireland flying the Leonardo flag. A new Leonardo hotel will launch in Manchester this spring. It will join The Midland Hotel with 300plus bedrooms in the centre of Manchester which is also a member of the group.
Other new properties planned include Nyx hotels in Dublin and Liverpool plus a 125-bedroom Nyx Hotel in Edinburgh’s Old Town scheduled to open next year.
The Jurys Group has changed a great deal since its inception - a small guesthouse launched by William Jurys in Dublin back in 1839.
