Shiva Hotels Group is set to open a new sustainable luxury lifestyle hotel in London’s Covent Garden in May 2020.
The hotel – ‘Middle Eight’ – will have 180 bedrooms, including 12 suites some with private outside terraces, plus a range of food and beverage outlets.
Hotel interiors at Middle Eight will be inspired by nature and use materials such as stone and wood and will include a feature wall in the hotel atrium.
Middle Eight will include a fitness centre, with cardio machines and weights.
The building which now houses Middle Eight was originally Kingsway Hall Methodist Church, a building renowned for its fine acoustics and used for recording classical orchestral and choral music - a tradition Middle Eight will continue with space for performances and screenings.
Middle Eight is located in Great Queen Street in Covent Garden, minutes away from the banks of the Thames, Leicester Square and London’s theatre district.
