Plans have just been submitted to Birmingham City Council for an exciting major new mixed-use scheme on a five-acre site in Digbeth close to the city centre. The scheme will include a 133-bedroom hotel at the heart of a new cultural, commercial and residential neighbourhood.
The hotel will occupy a key location overlooking a proposed Skypark on Duddeston Viaduct and a new public park. It will form part of a major new £260 million regeneration scheme in Birmingham city centre.
A planning decision is expected by the autumn. If approved the developer is hoping to start work early next year.
