Aparthotel operator, Staycity, is seeking planning consent to develop its fourth aparthotel in central Manchester. The aparthotel would be located on a site in Deansgate around two enclosed arches underneath the Grade II-listed Castlefield Viaduct.
With 22-storeys, the new Staycity Aparthotel would include 279 apartment bedrooms plus cycle spaces and a coffee shop.
Meanwhile at the other end of the M62, Adagio Aparthotels is planning to expand its presence in the centre of Liverpool.
Adagio Aparthotels currently occupy the first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors of the Lewis's Building in central Liverpool – a site it also shares with a Pure Gym
Adagio Aparthotels are planning additional apartments plus a relocated reception and breakfast area on the ground and mezzanine levels. The group is also planning a layout change on the fifth floor to incorporate two further meeting rooms.
Approval has now been granted.
