Shiva Hotels has sourced the funding. Planning permission has been secured. It is now a green-light for the new 199-bedroom luxury lifestyle Marylebone Lane Hotel in London's Marylebone.
The Marylebone Lane Hotel will be located on the site of a previous car park.
Marylebone Lane Hotel will include a variety of restaurants, a rooftop swimming pool and a subterranean events space. It is expected to open in early 2023.
Marylebone Lane Hotel is one of a new range of luxury hotels in London planned by Shiva Hotels. Future projects also include Morley House on Holborn Viaduct and a hotel on the former Soho Works site on Great Marlborough Street and Poland Street.
In addition, Shiva are planning to open The Guardsman off Buckingham Gate, and the Middle Eight in Covent Garden this autumn. The Middle Eight Hotel was formerly the Kingsway Hall hotel and has just completed a £50million refurbishment.
Other London hotels in the Shiva portfolio include: Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 5, Doubletree by Hilton London ExCeL and Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo.
