The new look Willows Training Centre at Wyboston Lakes Resort in Bedfordshire has reopened following an extensive refurbishment.
Under the refurbishment programme, the 12 meeting rooms at Willows Training Centre have been upgraded and an additional meeting room created. Facilities include a new boardroom for up to 24 delegates, as well as a creative space, ‘Willows Parkway’, which has been designed like a London tube station. The refurbishment has focused on creating light open spaces that offer extensive easy to use technology with comfortable social areas with plenty of power points and wireless connectivity.
The public areas, reception, bar, restaurant and many of the venue’s 183 bedrooms have also been upgraded.
The Cricket Kitchen is a self-service buffet restaurant with the added flexibility of a moving wall to provide clients with more options. This is complemented by a newly created alfresco dining area and a self-service ‘Pit Stop’ by Paddy & Scott’s Cafes.
This latest development follows a £3million overhaul of the Woodlands Event Centre, which was completed just over a year ago. It brings Wyboston Lakes Resort’s total spend on capital reinvestment to over £10million in the last few years.
