ExCeL London opened its new virtual events studio on October 15 in partnership with production company Anna Valley. The facility offers a versatile, visually engaging studio that delivers broadcast-quality content from a digital platform, allowing organisers to deliver highly dynamic hybrid events.
The studio is located in a central, self-contained area, above ExCeL London’s main event halls so it can be used as addition to a larger, live conference or hybrid event at ExCeL. Separate office spaces, green rooms and production areas are in close proximity.
The studio features an adaptable digital backdrop and stage floor, multiple cameras and a full sound system and lighting rig. Content can be streamed to Zoom, YouTube, Facebook and others.
As ExCeL London are the first to admit: “nothing beats meeting face-to-face or being amid the buzz of an auditorium, but the studio will enable organisers to deliver exceptional audience experiences whether the event is attended in person or remotely“.
As soon as larger, face-to-face conferences, exhibitions and events can return, the studio will act as an addition for event organisers seeking to reach a much larger audience.
