A new 150-bedroom hotel is set to be constructed at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The new hotel, a Hampton by Hilton, will sit alongside the 121 bedroom Doubletree by Hilton at the Ricoh Arena.
The Hampton by Hilton Hotel will enable the Ricoh Arena to attract more conferences and exhibitions to the site which features 20,000 square metres of events space, including a 6,000-square-metre exhibition hall, casino and various lounges.
Hampton by Hilton Ricoh Arena is scheduled for completion in autumn/winter 2021 – during the Coventry City of Culture year and ahead of the Commonwealth Games which will be held in Birmingham in the summer of 2022.
The Ricoh Arena is located within 800 metres of junction 3 of the M6, within easy distance of the M1 and M40 and with 2,000 on-site car parking spaces. It is a twenty-minute drive from Birmingham International Airport and station
