An application has been submitted to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council in South Yorkshire to convert a former bicycle manufacturing facility into a new hotel. The building is the former Fosters Cycles in Thames Street.
A new 23-bedroom hotel is planned for the former factory.
The three-storey Victorian building is currently vacant. It is part of a wider block which includes a dance studio, car spares shop, place of worship and tool hire shop. The factory unit is within easy walking distance of the centre of Rotherham and includes car parking.
