Following their recent opening of The Mitre Hampton Court, The Signet Collection have unveiled plans to open a second hotel in Spring 2022 - The Retreat Elcot Park.
The Retreat Elcot Park will be housed in a Grade II-listed 18th-century building located between Hungerford and Newbury.
The Retreat Elcot Park will include 55 individually styled bedrooms plus two restaurants - an all-day dining brasserie and a pan-Asian restaurant. The hotel will also have a whisky tasting room and honesty pantries.
The Retreat Elcot Park will feature a Health Club, inclusive of hydrotherapy pools, treatment rooms, steam and sauna, large gym, spin studio and a wellness area.
The Retreat Elcot Park will have meeting and events spaces as well as private dining rooms.
The Retreat Elcot Park is set in 16 acres of grounds with a walled working garden, tennis courts, an outdoor infinity pool, croquet lawns and children's zone.
The Retreat Elcot Park dates back to 1772 and was once the home of poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. It overlooks the Wessex Downs and boasts excellent transport links to the M4, M3 and A34.
