The Old War Office building on Whitehall in central London is to reopen probably in late 2022 as the first Raffles-branded hotel in the UK.
Raffles London at The OWO will operate as a 120 bedroom and suites flagship hotel along with a collection of 85 branded residences.
Raffles London at The OWO will also feature nine distinct restaurants and bars, an immersive spa with a 20-metre indoor pool and separate vitality pool, plus a 620 seated-capacity grand ballroom.
The Old War Office opened in 1906 since when it has witnessed world-shaping events whilst influential political and military leaders including Winston Churchill, H H Asquith, David Lloyd George and John Profumo held office. It is located opposite Horse Guards on Whitehall, a stone’s throw from St James’s Park and the Mall in central London.
