Plans have been submitted to convert a Grade II-listed building near Castle Donington in Leicestershire into a luxury hotel.
The building is the four-storey Donington Hall, complete with an attached chapel, mews buildings and coach house. Plans would see the listed building converted into a 44-bedroom country hotel, with the facility to host small meetings for around 30 delegates.
Donington Hall is set in the Donington Park Estate, which comprises around 1,100 acres of parkland, including the Donington Park racing circuit.
Plans have been submitted to North West Leicestershire District Council – we await developments.
