Plans have been unveiled to build a new four-star hotel on the border of Manchester and Salford. If approved the 15-storey hotel would be operated by Maldron, part of the Dalata Hotel Group.
Proposals outline a 186 bedroom hotel with a reception and lounge on the ground floor plus a mezzanine bar and restaurant. The upper floors would feature a range of hotel rooms and a residents’ gym.
The hotel would be built on Chapel Street in central Manchester on a site which currently operates as a 40-space car park.
Plans are currently open for public consultation prior to their submission to the local councils.
