Cameron House, the luxury hotel overlooking Loch Lomond which was extensively damaged in a fire three years ago, is now set to reopen in April 2021. This is ahead of a £17.5 million extension which is due to be completed before the end of 2021.
The extension, located next to the hotel’s leisure wing, will see a further 68 bedrooms open on the upper three floors. This will take the total number of bedrooms at Cameron House to 208. The majority of new rooms will have balconies with loch-facing views.
A new ballroom at Cameron House accommodating up to 400 delegates for a theatre style presentation is also part of the planned extension.
A large outdoor terrace on the lower ground floor will create a separate, external space for smaller events with views overlooking Loch Lomond.
Cameron House is located on the banks of Loch Lomond a 5 minute drive from Balloch station and around a 30 minute journey by road from Glasgow.
