Flat Cap Hotels have published plans to convert space at The Courthouse in Knutsford, Cheshire into hotel accommodation plus a restaurant and bar.
Flat Cap Hotels took over the Grade II-listed Courthouse building in 2016 and converted two courtrooms into meeting and banqueting space.
If plans are approved, the second phase would see the former jail cells converted into hotel bedrooms. New meeting and events space would also feature. The existing restaurant and bar would be refurbished, and a rooftop terrace added.
If all goes to plan the new facilities at Court House Knutsford could come on-stream next year.
Existing facilities at the Courthouse include two meeting and events suites: The Court Room with plenty of natural daylight will seat up to 180 delegates with the Moneypenny Suite alongside accommodating up to 100 delegates theatre style.
The Courthouse Knutsford is a short drive from the M6 at junction 19 as well as Manchester International Airport. It is around half a mile from Knutsford station.
