Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is housed a terracotta Grade II-listed building with a history dating back to 1890, when it first opened as The Refuge Assurance Company headquarters. A grand clock tower at its centre is a landmark on Manchester’s skyline.
Kimpton Clocktower Hotel has retained many of the building’s unique period features including glazed bricks, tiles, stained glass and carved wooden staircases.
Kimpton Clocktower Hotel has 270 loft-style bedrooms, including 11 suites. Each room features Kimpton’s signature perks such as in-room yoga mats and the ‘Forgot It? We’ve Got It!’ service offering guest essentials. It also includes complimentary tuck boxes of treats in all rooms, as well as fresh milk and mineral water in the fridge.
At the heart of Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is The Winter Garden, a space with plenty of natural light offering all day dining. The Refuge by Volta, serves globally inspired menus plus a range of craft beers and cocktails.
