Hotel Brooklyn coming to Leicester
Spring 2022 is the planned opening date for the second Hotel Brooklyn in the UK. Hotel Brooklyn Leicester is set to join Hotel Brooklyn Manchester which opened in 2020.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester will be located next to Leicester’s Welford Road Stadium – home to the Leicester Tigers rugby union team.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester will have 191 bedrooms and suites, a restaurant and bar plus Runyon’s, an American-style diner concept located in the hotel’s five-floor atrium space.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester will have extensive conference and events facilities both inside the hotel and inside the Welford Road Stadium. No rooming/capacities details are currently available.
Hotel Brooklyn Leicester is located just south of Leicester city centre, around a ten-minute walk into the centre and with good access to the M1 motorway.

Inn Collection add to their collection
The Inn Collection Group has acquired The Glenridding Hotel in Ullswater - a 38-bedroom hotel located on the southern shore of Ullswater in the Lake District.
The Glenridding Hotel currently includes a coffee shop, bar, restaurant and conference facilities. The Glenridding Hotel has three meeting rooms with the largest seating up to 30 delegates. The hotel will continue trading as usual until a refurbishment and remodeling takes place later this year.
The addition of The Glenridding Hotel takes The Inn Collection Group portfolio to nine hotels in the Lake District and its overall site count to 28.

Yotel opening second London Hotel
Yotel is planning to open another hotel in London this April – this time in Shoreditch. It will join Yotel London City in Clerkenwell Road.
The new Yotel London Shoreditch will be a rebranding and refurbishing of the East London Hotel in Cambridge Heath Road.
Yotel London Shoreditch will have 161 bedrooms including double, twin, family and interconnecting rooms. There will be a restaurant and bar plus co-working space.
Yotel London Shoreditch is a short walk from Bethnal Green tube station.

New Hotel set to open in Kent
Boys Hall is a 17th century manor house in Kent. It is set to be launched as a ten-bedroom boutique hotel in June 2022.
Boys Hall is a Grade-II listed house originally built in 1616. Famous guests from the past include King Charles 1 and Samuel Pepys.
Boys Hall is currently being restored. As well as 10 luxury bedrooms, the hotel will include private dining spaces, a 70-cover restaurant in the main dining hall, two outside terraces and a pub.
Boys Hall is located in Boys Hall Road just outside Ashford in Kent and around 60 miles from central London.

New hotel in Tin Pan Alley
Chateau Denmark is a new hotel opening 4th April in Denmark Street in London’s Soho – a street otherwise known as London’s Tin Pan Alley.
Chateau Denmark is set across 16 buildings and includes 55 highly distinctive ‘Session Rooms’ and ‘Signature Apartments’. It will include rooms where David Bowie signed his first contract, and where Elton John and Jimi Hendrix rehearsed. Several of the apartments are housed in the building where the Rolling Stones recorded their first album. Expect a room décor with a strong rock ‘n’ roll theme or to use the hotel’s description "punk rock and vintage gothic meet modern psychedelia with a timeless grandeur".
Chateau Denmark will include a restaurant with a lounge bar and basement club. A fitness studio plus meeting and events space will be opening later this year.
Denmark Street is just south of Tottenham Court Road with Tottenham Court Road the nearest tube station.

Aptel opens in London
Aptel is a new aparthotel brand which has just officially launched its first site – Aptel East - in East London.
Aptel East comprises 33 apartments. All apartments are spacious and include a bedroom, kitchenette, living space and bathroom.
Apartments are air-conditioned with high-speed wi-fi, bespoke furnishings and a 24hour concierge service. Kitchenettes are equipped with a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and kitchen essentials such as crockery and utensils.
Aptel East is located in Commercial Road in Whitechapel in East London. It is within walking distance of Spitalfields and Tower Bridge as well as Liverpool Street, Aldgate East and Tower Hill tube stations.
