New Year opening planned for new Birmingham hotel
The next new four-star hotel and events venue to open in Birmingham is the keenly awaited Eastside Rooms & Aloft Hotel Birmingham Eastside. Opening in the early New Year 2021 and located in the heart of Birmingham’s Eastside Quarter, The Eastside Rooms & Aloft Hotel Birmingham Eastside will include a wide range conferences, meetings and exhibitions space.
The new and custom-built events spaces will feature Birmingham’s largest pillar free ballroom, a range of flexible spaces and 14 meeting rooms accommodating from ten to 50 delegates - all fully equipped with state of the art AV equipment and onsite catering.
The Aloft Hotel alongside includes 195 bedrooms, two suites, a gym, Tempo Restaurant and Wxyz Cocktail Bar.
The Eastside Rooms & Aloft Hotel Birmingham Eastside is located in Woodcock Street just off the Aston Expressway with an excellent connection to the M6 motorway and a short walk from both Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Moor Street Stations.

New Holiday Inn Blackpool update
A new Holiday Inn Blackpool Hotel is scheduled to open in the summer of 2022. The hotel will form part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool.
The Holiday Inn Blackpool will have 144 bedrooms and will feature a branch of Pierre White's New York Italian restaurant chain.
The Holiday Inn Blackpool will form the centrepiece of the new Talbot Gateway development in Blackpool.

Bespoke Hotels add two
Bespoke Hotels have taken over the management of two hotels – Rothay Garden Hotel in Grasmere, Cumbria and The Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon.
Effective from Sunday October 4, Bespoke Hotels will now work with the hotel teams to raise and develop the standards at the two hotels, bringing new ideas and practices to enable the properties to ‘reach their full potential’.
The Celtic Royal Hotel is situated between Snowdonia’s mountains and the sea. The Celtic Royal Hotel has 110 bedrooms and features Brasserie Draco serving a Mediterranean-style cuisine, a leisure club and meeting facilities. Celtic Royal Hotel is a five-minute walk from Caernarfon Castle.
Rothay Garden in Grasmere has recently completed a multi-million-pound redevelopment. Rothay Garden now offers 30 bedrooms and suites, a Garden Restaurant and the Riverside Spa.
Bespoke Hotels will now work to develop the standards at the two hotels. Bespoke Hotels, founded in 2000, has grown to represent over 200 properties worldwide.

The Guardsman opening October in London
The Guardsman is a new purpose-built, luxurious, five-star hotel opening close Buckingham Palace in London on 23 October 2020.
The Guardsman will have 53 bedrooms. All rooms will feature black and white marble bathrooms, walk-in showers, bespoke toiletries and custom furnishings.
The top three floors at The Guardsman will also house six Residences. These will be apartment-like suites featuring full kitchens, a work area, a spacious open-plan layout and city views, along with concierge services.
The Guardsman will offer services including valets, private chefs, pre-arrival kitchens and pantry stocking, personalized unpacking and 24-hour room service.
In short expect state-of-the-art technology through to luxurious toiletries at The Guardsman.
‘The Dining Room’ is the restaurant at The Guardsman serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Relaxation areas at The Guardsman include The Drawing Room and an adjoining Library.

Bodmin Jail Hotel opening early 2021
After almost 100 years of ruin, Bodmin Jail on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall will finally reopen, this time to visitors and guests, as The Bodmin Jail Hotel. It opens in February 2021.
The Bodmin Jail Hotel is built around the famous 18th century prison which in addition to housing notorious criminals was also a safe house for the Crown Jewels during the First World War.
The Bodmin Jail Hotel will have 70 bedrooms, created by combining three former cells, whilst retaining their original features such as the weathered stone walls and jail cell doors – and with the added attraction of free-standing baths, walk-in showers, luxury bedding and modern amenities.
The Chapel Restaurant at The Bodmin Jail Hotel will be housed in the jail’s old chapel with the Chapel Bar in what was once the Governor’s Office.
The Bodmin Jail Hotel will have three meeting spaces each fully equipped with the latest AV technology and accommodating up to 14 delegates.
Bodmin Jail Hotel is less than a mile from Bodmin station and offers plenty of on-site parking. Local attractions in addition to the moors and the Cornish beaches include the Eden Project.

New INNSiDE Newcastle nears completion
Building work is nearing completion on the new INNSiDE Hotel on Newcastle-on-Tyne’s Quayside with an opening anticipated before the end of the year.
The £25million INNSiDE Newcastle will have 161 bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, a flat-screen TV with Chromecast plus a well-appointed bathroom with a rain shower and organic amenities. Many rooms will have views over the Newcastle Quayside.
INNSiDE Newcastle will be a lifestyle hotel designed for both work and leisure featuring an open living lounge and outdoor terrace, a 24-hour fitness centre and a Big Ideas Space.
