The Abbey Hotel Bath has just joined Marriott Hotel’s Tribute Portfolio following its recent major refurbishment.

Tribute Portfolio is Marriott International’s newest collection of independent hotels.

Abbey Hotel Bath is now a contemporary boutique hotel, although its building dates back to 1739. It occupies three Georgian townhouses on North Parade close to the Pulteney Bridge and city’s Roman Baths.

Abbey Hotel Bath has 65 individually styled bedrooms all fully equipped with the latest in-room comforts and technology.

Abbey Hotel Bath has a restaurant plus a ‘day-to-night’ ArtBar which features a curated collection of artworks.

Abbey Hotel Bath has two meeting rooms with the largest – ‘Escape’ – seating up to 50 delegates for a theatre style meeting.

Abbey Hotel Bath is a short walk from Bath Spa station and just over an hour by train from London Paddington.

Hart Shoreditch Hotel London Curio Collection by Hilton is a new 126-bedroom lifestyle hotel which has just officially opened in East London. The hotel had a soft opening earlier this year before being forced to close by the coronavirus outbreak.

Hart Shoreditch Hotel takes its name from one of the building’s previous occupants, The Harts, who were cabinetmakers in the 1800’s. The area boasts a rich and diverse industrial and artisan history which is referenced throughout the hotel with features including a wrought iron and copper staircase.

Hart Shoreditch Hotel has 126 bedrooms each with a rain shower, Smart TV, media hub and queen bed. Superior Rooms also include an espresso machine, bathrobes as well as workspace.

‘Barboun’ is the restaurant at Hart Shoreditch Hotel with an Eastern Mediterranean styled menu. The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness centre. Two meeting and events spaces will seat a total of 26 delegates.

This is the fourth Curio Collection by Hilton property in London and the brand’s first in East London

Hart Shoreditch Hotel London Curio Collection by Hilton is located in Great Eastern Street in the heart of Shoreditch, a short walk from Shoreditch High Street tube station and within walking distance of a wide range of bars, restaurants and markets such as Brick Lane and Spitalfields.

Selina, a Latin-American lifestyle hotel brand, has opened its third property in the UK on Brighton’s seafront.

Selina Brighton has 31 bedrooms including suites, family rooms for up to four guests plus standard and micro-sized double rooms. A further 19 bedrooms including community rooms for up to six guests is expected to open in 2021.

Selina Brighton features a lobby area cum social space with a grab-and-go coffee shop a sea-view restaurant and bar, co-working space and a ‘late-night venue’.

Selina Brighton is located on the town’s promenade, a short walk from the British Airways i360 Viewing Tower, The Royal Pavilion and Brighton Palace Pier.

Selina Brighton joins two other UK properties: in Birmingham’s Jewelry Quarter and in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. A fourth hotel is set to open next year in Camden, central London.

Plans have been approved to convert Nottingham's historic Guildhall into a four-star hotel.

Plans for the building include a 160-bedroom hotel featuring a rooftop fine dining restaurant, a spa plus conference and events facilities.

The Grade II-listed Guildhall building dates back to 1887 and in the past has housed a magistrates’ court, police station and fire station but the building has been vacant since 2010.

A new five-storey rear extension to the Guildhall is planned plus a glazed link connection between the Guildhall and Fire Station House alongside.

The Guildhall section will feature 39 bedrooms whilst the five-storey extension will create a further 20 bedrooms. The 13-storey tower will feature 101 bedrooms as well as the rooftop restaurant, bar and terrace.

The Guildhall is located in Sherwood Street in the centre of Nottingham.

Woolwich Works is a new ‘cultural quarter’ set to open in Woolwich, in East London in Spring 2021.

Woolwich Works will result from a major restoration project of five industrial buildings: a range of Grade II and II* listed buildings comprising the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich.

Woolwich Works will include multi-use spaces for concerts, exhibitions, conferences and events with many of the building’s historic features retained and enhanced.

Woolwich Works will feature a performance venue to seat up to 1200 people, five studios as well as a café, bar and community spaces for conferences and other events.

Woolwich Works is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Its riverside location will be served by Woolwich Arsenal pier. The new Woolwich Crossrail station will be within a five minute walk, with the DLR providing good access to London City Airport.

Beaverbrook Hotel in partnership with the Cadogan Estate is set to launch its first London property in Chelsea in summer 2021.

The Beaverbrook Town House has been created from two Georgian townhouses in Sloane Street following completion of an extensive £25million restoration programme. Beaverbrook Town House will sit opposite Cadogan Place Gardens in Chelsea.

Beaverbrook Town House will feature 14 luxury suites plus a 60-cover Japanese restaurant.

The hotel will serve as an outpost of The Beaverbrook, a luxury country house hotel and golf club which opened in 2017 in Leatherhead, Surrey.
