Hotel Brooklyn has just opened on Portland Street in the centre of Manchester.  Hotel Brooklyn is a design-led hotel with 189 innovative bedrooms.

Hotel Brooklyn pays homage to Brooklyn’s history from early 20th century to the present day.

Hotel Brooklyn includes Runyon’s bar and restaurant, named after American writer Damon Runyon and famous for his depictions of Brooklyn characters. It also features an expansive 9th floor banqueting space with its own bar – Brooklyn Heights - accommodating up to 220 guests.

Hotel Brooklyn is operated by Bespoke Hotels and is the sister property to Manchester’s Hotel Gotham: a hotel inspired by New York City between the 1920’s and the 1940’s.

Hotel Brooklyn is a short walk from both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road stations.

Hospitality group, Locke Hotels, will open its second hotel in London in March 2020. Locke at Broken Wharf will have 113 bedrooms and will be located on the Thames at London’s Millennium Bridge.

Locke aims to blend a high-end lifestyle hotel with the space and flexibility of an apartment. The hotel’s social spaces comprise an all-day restaurant, bar concept and a co-working area, as well as offering cultural programmes spanning wellness, fitness, art and music.

Each of the 113 studios in Locke at Broken Wharf will be equipped with custom designed furniture and fittings as well as a high-spec kitchen.

Locke at Broken Wharf joins three existing Locke hotels: in East London, Manchester and Edinburgh.  Two more London openings are planned later this year in Bermondsey and Dalston.

Locke at Broken Wharf is located minutes from both Cannon Street and Blackfriars stations on the north bank of the River Thames.

The skyscraper block will be located near Brindley Place, one of the new stops on the West Midlands Metro extension and within easy walking distance of city centre Birmingham.

Construction is expected to be finished in 2022.
