Plans are currently being drawn up to turn Bradford’s Wool Exchange into boutique hotel as part of the city’s regeneration plans.

The Grade-I listed property was the centre of the city’s wool trade and is currently home to a branch of Waterstones bookshop and a cafe. The building’s empty spaces on the upper floors could be transformed into a boutique “art hotel” if plans go ahead.

The new hotel proposals could become particularly relevant if Bradford is successful in its bid to be crowned City of Culture for 2025.
