The Alan is a new lifestyle hotel which has just opened in the centre of Manchester.

The Alan occupies a six-storey Grade -II listed building in Princess Street.

The Alan has 137 bedrooms and suites all furnished with the latest in-room comforts and technology including: Emperor beds , 50” Smart TVs with Google Chromecast and bluetooth speakers.

The Alan has an in-house restaurant and bar serving an all-day menu.

The Alan offers extensive co-working space and facilities suited to its location in the heart of central Manchester and walkable to both Piccadilly and Victoria stations.

Later this year a pop-up events space - Situ - will open on The Alan’s lower ground floor.

Construction has just started on the first TRIBE Hotel in the UK. TRIBE is part of the Accor family of hotel brands. The site will be the new Airport City development in Manchester.

The £42million, 412-bedroom TRIBE hotel at Airport City Manchester will be the third new hotel at this development. It will join a 280-bedroom Holiday Inn and a 262-bedroom Ibis Budget Hotel, both of which are expected to open in summer 2022.

TRIBE hotel at Airport City Manchester will be a nine-storey building with a restaurant and bar plus a gym.

TRIBE is described as a new kind of hotel ‘one that responds directly to the desires and aspirations of the modern traveller’.

It is anticipated that it will take two years to build TRIBE hotel. It will open in Manchester Airport’s Chicago Avenue.

Two new hotels are opening this month in Manchester - at 3 St Peter’s Square in the city centre.

3 St Peter’s Square is a new building close to Manchester Town Hall and the Central Library. It sits on the site of the former Peterloo House office block which was demolished in March 2018.

Motel One St Peter’s Square will launch with 328 bedrooms on the lower eight floors of the 20-storey building. It is the third Motel One in Manchester joining Motel Manchester on London Road and Motel One Manchester Royal Exchange.

Staycity Aparthotel sits on the upper floors above with 256 studio and one-bedroom apartments. It is Manchester’s first Wilde Aparthotel.

Hampton by Hilton Bath City has just opened in the city. It is a short walk from Bath’s major tourist attractions, including Thermae Bath Spa and the Roman Baths.

Hampton by Hilton Bath City is a seven-storey building with 202 bedrooms and suites all equipped with the latest in-room facilities and technology. Hampton by Hilton Bath City includes a restaurant, bar and a fitness centre.

Hampton by Hilton Bath City is a new build property located in Avon Street within walking distance of Bath Spa station.

The former Crowne Plaza London the City in Blackfriars is set to reopen this July as a 204-bedroom Hyatt Regency hotel.

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars will occupy a Grade II-listed building situated on the site of the former Bridewell Palace, which in days of old was the residence of King Henry VIII.

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is currently undergoing a refurbishment. It will reopen with a New York-style bistro, a Chinese restaurant, a bar, a large outdoor space plus a fitness centre. The hotel will also include meeting and events facilities with capacities and room details awaiting publication.

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located in New Bridge Street, a short walk from Blackfriars Bridge and Blackfriars station for both London Overground and Underground rail services.

New owners of the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum Hotel in Cromwell Road near Kensington Garden in London are planning a closure of the hotel in early 2022 for a complete refurbishment.

Singapore-based Fragrance Group are the new owners of this ‘mega-sized’ hotel.  The Kensington Forum Hotel has 906 bedrooms and suites set over 27 floors with a selection of dining and refreshment outlets plus a residents’ fitness centre.

Holiday Inn Kensington Forum Hotel boasts an unrivalled range of meeting and events facilities in London. The hotel’s  9,000 square-foot Conference Centre contains 12 fully air-conditioned meeting rooms, all with natural light, ranging from a small interview room to a room large enough to seat 330 delegates theatre style.
