We celebrate St Patrick’s Day today (17th March) with hotel news from Ireland.
Dalata Hotel Group are to unveil their newest hotel - The Samuel Hotel - in the centre of Dublin this April. Overlooking the River Liffey, the 4-star Samuel Hotel is on the doorstep of many Dublin historic landmarks as well as being near the Convention Centre Dublin and the IFSC business district.
The Samuel Hotel has 204 bedrooms plus The Samuel Bar and Grill. All bedrooms are air conditioned with a flat-screen TV with Chromecast, complimentary high-speed wi-fi, laptop safe, tea- and coffee-making facilities and an ensuite bathroom with a dual rain shower.
The Samuel Hotel has five meeting and events suites on its mezzanine floor overlooking Spencer Place and Central Square. The rooms are equipped with Clevertouch technology. All are fully air conditioned and have natural light. The largest suite will seat up to 48 delegates theatre style.
The Samuel Hotel is located in Spencer Place in the heart of Dublin and just 13km from Dublin airport. It overlooks Samuel Beckett Bridge – hence the name of the hotel.

Improvement plans for Leicester Grand Hotel
Plans have just been submitted for a new heritage project to restore Leicester's Grade-II listed Grand Hotel to its former glory.
Plans include improvements to the hotel entrance, with cleaning and repairs to the windows and balcony plus repairs to the existing canopy above the entrance.
The shops along the ground floor of the Grand Hotel would also be transformed to bring them more into line with the historic building. Modern signs would be replaced, and the entrances rebuilt with sustainable hardwood timber and toughened glass.
If planning permission is granted, redevelopment work on the project is likely to start this summer.
The Grand hotel – is now owned by the Mercure group.

New Waterfront Hotel opening shortly
The Tŷ Milford Waterfront Hotel is a new hotel opening at the entrance to Milford Waterfront in Milford Haven, in South Wales in April 2022.
Tŷ Milford Waterfront Hotel has 100 bedrooms, all air-conditioned and equipped with a flat screen television, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, desk and chair. Dulse is the restaurant at Tŷ Milford Waterfront Hotel which offers an edible variety of seaweed, amongst other dishes on the menu. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Complimentary parking is available for guests within a two-minute walk of the hotel.
Tŷ Milford Waterfront Hotel is part of the Celtic Collection group of hotels which also includes Celtic Manor Resort in its portfolio.

Accor planning Municipal Hotel Liverpool MGallery
Accor Hotels are planning to open a new MGallery branded hotel in Liverpool – but not before 2023.
Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery will occupy a Grade-II listed building on Dale Street dating back to 1862 and formerly used by council staff.
Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery will be a 189-bedroom boutique hotel. The building’s grand pillars, decorative vaulted ceilings and marble fireplaces will all be retained and enhanced. The project will also include a new extension in bronze-effect glazed cladding.
Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery will include a restaurant, bar and lounge plus a pool, gym, spa and treatment rooms.
Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery will be located in the heart of central Liverpool, a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station.
Before Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery opens, Accor are planning to launch their new Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village - a 16 storey building with 221 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar with views across the River Mersey - plus meeting rooms, a 53sq-mt gym and a ground floor coffee shop. It is scheduled to open July 2022.

New Milton Keynes Hotel set for April opening
Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes is a new hotel set to open April 2022. Hotel La Tour is a modern, purpose-built, 14-storey hotel in the heart of Milton Keynes.
Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes has 261 bedrooms and suites all furnished with the latest comforts and technology.
There is over 14,000 sq-ft of dedicated meeting and events space on the first floor of the hotel with nine meeting and events suites accommodating up to 300 guests. Four rooms can be combined to create a banqueting space with access to an outdoor terrace. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and each is equipped with the latest conferencing technology. There is a business lounge for refreshments.
‘14’ is the sky bar and restaurant at Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes. It will seat up to 180 guests and can be accessed via a glass lift. Private dining facilities are also available.

Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes is at Marlborough Gate in Milton Keynes, 55 miles from London and 70 miles from Birmingham. The M1 motorway is a 5-minute drive and London Luton Airport 30 minutes away.

New meeting space and aparthotel in Preston
A brand new meeting space for up to 20 delegates with modern contemporary aparthotel accommodation for delegates who want to stay over has just opened at Cotton Court in the centre of Preston.
