Two new hotels opening in Manchester
Two new hotels are opening this month in Manchester - at 3 St Peter’s Square in the city centre.
3 St Peter’s Square is a new building close to Manchester Town Hall and the Central Library. It sits on the site of the former Peterloo House office block which was demolished in March 2018.
Motel One St Peter’s Square will launch with 328 bedrooms on the lower eight floors of the 20-storey building. It is the third Motel One in Manchester joining Motel Manchester on London Road and Motel One Manchester Royal Exchange.
Staycity Aparthotel sits on the upper floors above with 256 studio and one-bedroom apartments. It is Manchester’s first Wilde Aparthotel.

Avisford Park Hotel March opening
Avisford Park Hotel in Sussex is the latest addition to the Bespoke Hotels group – now the UK's largest independent hotel grouping. The hotel was previously known as The Hilton Avisford Park.
Avisford Park Hotel will reopen in March.
Avisford Park Hotel is a Georgian manor house set in 89 acres of Sussex parkland between Chichester and Arundel. It has 140 bedrooms and suites across three floors. The Cedar Restaurant, a split-level restaurant overlooking the hotel grounds, was formerly a prep school.
Leisure facilities at Avisford Park Hotel include a golf club, a fitness centre, beauty treatment rooms, tennis courts, croquet lawn and an indoor and outdoor pool.
Avisford Park Hotel has fifteen fully equipped meeting and events rooms many interconnecting with break out rooms. The Grand Room is the largest seating up to 330 delegates theatre style.
Avisford Park Hotel is situated just off the A27 between Arundel and Chichester. It is around 45 minutes from London Gatwick Airport.

March opening for new Bristol Hotel
Dalata Hotel Group has announced the opening of the new Clayton Hotel Bristol City on 14th March 2022 - in the old city at the walls of St. Johns.
Clayton Hotel Bristol City is a modern contemporary hotel housed in the redevelopment of the Grade-ll listed Everard’s Printing Works.
Clayton Hotel Bristol City has 255 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites all furnished with King Koil mattresses, ample working space, free wi-fi, a large flat-screen TV and air conditioning.

Plans for London’s Kensington Forum Hotel
New owners of the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum Hotel in Cromwell Road near Kensington Garden in London are planning a closure of the hotel in early 2022 for a complete refurbishment.
Singapore-based Fragrance Group are the new owners of this ‘mega-sized’ hotel. The Kensington Forum Hotel has 906 bedrooms and suites set over 27 floors with a selection of dining and refreshment outlets plus a residents’ fitness centre.
Holiday Inn Kensington Forum Hotel boasts an unrivalled range of meeting and events facilities in London. The hotel’s 9,000 square-foot Conference Centre contains 12 fully air-conditioned meeting rooms, all with natural light, ranging from a small interview room to a room large enough to seat 330 delegates theatre style.

New Serviced Apartment brand launched
Cheval Collection is a hospitality group with twelve all-apartment locations in London and Edinburgh. They have just launched a new serviced apartment brand – MY Locanda.
Each MY Locanda property will comprise studios, studios with sofa beds and one-bedroom apartments - ranging from 25 - 30 sq-mt studios to 40 sq-mt one-bedroom apartments.
Each MY Locanda apartment will include a fully equipped kitchen along with a washing machine.
MY Locanda apartments will feature ground floor communal areas for both co-living and co-working including high-speed wi-fi, dedicated spaces for business meetings plus food and drinks from MY Grab&Go. The apartments will also include a fitness studio.
Cheval Collection is planning to open MY Locanda in ‘dynamic’ cities around the world – but details of the chosen ones await publication.

New Conference Centre opens in Blackpool
Last week we reported that the Radisson Hotel Group is set to operate the new hotel within Blackpool Football Club’s Bloomfield Road stadium. There are some major developments and new hotels coming to Blackpool in the near future. This week’s Blackpool story concerns the new Conference and Exhibition Centre which has just opened in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens complex.
The Conference and Exhibition Centre provides 2,400sq-mt of event space accommodating up to 2,000 visitors over two floors. The main meeting space is located on the first floor where the room can be used as a single venue or split into four individual rooms. The ground floor space is slightly smaller but that too can be subdivided and it also houses a range of syndicate rooms.
The new Conference and Exhibition Centre is purpose-designed and fully equipped with the latest technology including exceptional broadband fibre connectivity, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and environment management technology.
The new Conference and Exhibition Centre is integrated within the wider Blackpool Winter Gardens complex, a short walk from Blackpool North station.
