Two Hyatt Hotels coming to London
The Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites in London’s Stratford are set to be rebranded under two Hyatt brands: a Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House will both share the building. The building is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment.
Hyatt Regency London Stratford will have 225 bedrooms and suites plus a restaurant, bar and an open-air terrace. It will also include extensive meeting and events spaces.
The Hyatt House London Stratford will have 127 apartment-style suites each fully equipped kitchens and flexible workspaces. The hotel is designed for the extended stay market.
Other Hyatt properties in London include Hyatt Regency London – the Churchill, Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport, Great Scotland Yard hotel, Andaz London Liverpool Street, Hyatt Place West London Hayes. Outside London their portfolio includes: Hyatt Regency Birmingham, London Hayes, Hyatt Centric Cambridge, Hyatt Regency Manchester and Hyatt House Manchester.
The two Hyatt Hotels will benefit from the launch of the new Queen Elizabeth Crossrail line, due to open mid-2022. It will feature a super-fast journey from Heathrow Airport to Stratford in around 45 minutes.

Coming to Manchester
Plans have just been approved for another new hotel in Manchester.
Proposals to demolish the 80,000 sq ft Ralli Quays building in Salford to create a new 16-storey, 280-bedroom hotel alongside a new office development have been granted planning approval.
Ralli Quays was constructed almost thirty years ago for H.M. Customs and Excise. They will be moving later this year to their new base at Three New Bailey.
The new hotel will be located on the opposite side of the River Irwell from Spinningfields within easy reach of Manchester City Centre and its rail terminals.

CitySuites has opened its second aparthotel in central Manchester.
The new-build CitySuites Two is located on New Kings Head Yard in Embankment West, adjacent to their existing property on Chapel Street.
CitySuites Two includes 142 apartments ranging from studio apartments to three-bedroom apartments. All apartments feature a fully fitted kitchen, ultrafast broadband, a Nespresso coffee maker, a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Super Suites housed on the top three floors of the building offer skyline views of Manchester.
CitySuites Two also features a 24-hour gym, an 18-metre pool and a spa pool with a steam room plus meeting space, a brasserie and a bar.
Suites at CitySuites Two are available for one-night stays as well as longer residences.

Berlin coming to London
The German boutique lifestyle hotel brand, The AMANO Group, will be opening their first hotel in London in early 2022.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will have 141 bedrooms all with free wi-fi, soundproof windows, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and an in-room tablet.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will have a basement bar, restaurant, sky bar and rooftop terrace with city views.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will be located in Russell Street in central London, a stone’s throw from a handful of tube stations.

Westin London City opens
Westin Hotels & Resorts has just opened The Westin London City, the brand's first hotel in the UK.
The Westin London City has 222 luxury bedrooms and suites. Mosaic is the hotel’s all-day dining venue. Hithe + Seek is the hotel’s wine bar.
The Westin London City has seven meeting rooms with more than 1,052-square-metre of space, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The Westin Ballroom is the largest room seating 246 delegates theatre style – a room divisible into two.
Leisure facilities include a Fitness Studio and Spa with six therapy rooms and a pool area.
The Westin London City is located in Upper Thames Street and overlooks the River Thames, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Tate Modern in central London.

voco St Johns reopens meeting space after refurb

New Hyde Hotel coming to London
The 15 Old Bailey building in London, currently undergoing a £34million regeneration, is set to be relaunched in 2023 as the Hyde Paradox Hotel London City – part of the Accor group of hotels.
Hyde Paradox Hotel London City will have 110 bedrooms and suites plus a Levantine restaurant, a Japanese-inspired speakeasy bar and a gym.
Hyde Paradox Hotel London City will be the sixth Hyde branded hotel to open worldwide.
15 Old Bailey was originally built as a hotel. It was converted to offices in the early 1900s. It located in the heart of the City of London – a two-minute walk from St Paul’s Cathedral.
