One Hundred Shoreditch opens today
One Hundred Shoreditch is set to replace what was once Ace Hotel in London. It opens today 3rd March 2022.
One Hundred Shoreditch includes 258 bedrooms and suites plus a restaurant, a coffee shop and a variety of bars.
Bedrooms range from Studio Rooms to Studio Suites. All have wi-fi, a television, tea and coffee, black out blinds, bathroom amenities, mini fridge with treats, plenty of plugs (including USB), a safe, air conditioning plus filtered still or sparkling drinking water.
One Hundred Shoreditch offers five dedicated meeting and events spaces. The One Hundred Room is the largest with 600 sq-ft of space plus floor to ceiling windows boasting panoramic views across the City of London.
One Hundred Shoreditch is located at 100 Shoreditch High Street, a short walk from Shoreditch Overground station and close to Old Street Tube station.

The Alan opens in Manchester
The Alan is a new lifestyle hotel which has just opened in the centre of Manchester.
The Alan occupies a six-storey Grade -II listed building in Princess Street.
The Alan has 137 bedrooms and suites all furnished with the latest in-room comforts and technology including: Emperor beds , 50” Smart TVs with Google Chromecast and bluetooth speakers.
The Alan has an in-house restaurant and bar serving an all-day menu.
The Alan offers extensive co-working space and facilities suited to its location in the heart of central Manchester and walkable to both Piccadilly and Victoria stations.
Later this year a pop-up events space - Situ - will open on The Alan’s lower ground floor.

Construction starts on TRIBE Hotel
Construction has just started on the first TRIBE Hotel in the UK. TRIBE is part of the Accor family of hotel brands. The site will be the new Airport City development in Manchester.
The £42million, 412-bedroom TRIBE hotel at Airport City Manchester will be the third new hotel at this development. It will join a 280-bedroom Holiday Inn and a 262-bedroom Ibis Budget Hotel, both of which are expected to open in summer 2022.
TRIBE hotel at Airport City Manchester will be a nine-storey building with a restaurant and bar plus a gym.
TRIBE is described as a new kind of hotel ‘one that responds directly to the desires and aspirations of the modern traveller’.
It is anticipated that it will take two years to build TRIBE hotel. It will open in Manchester Airport’s Chicago Avenue.

July opening for Hyatt in London
The former Crowne Plaza London the City in Blackfriars is set to reopen this July as a 204-bedroom Hyatt Regency hotel.
Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars will occupy a Grade II-listed building situated on the site of the former Bridewell Palace, which in days of old was the residence of King Henry VIII.
Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is currently undergoing a refurbishment. It will reopen with a New York-style bistro, a Chinese restaurant, a bar, a large outdoor space plus a fitness centre. The hotel will also include meeting and events facilities with capacities and room details awaiting publication.
Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located in New Bridge Street, a short walk from Blackfriars Bridge and Blackfriars station for both London Overground and Underground rail services.
