April opening for new Milton Keynes Hotel
A new Hotel La Tour is set to open in Milton Keynes in April 2022.
Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes will have 261 bedrooms and suites, 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting and events space plus The Skyline restaurant and Sky Bar on the 14th floor with access via a glass fronted lift with views across Milton Keynes. Leisure facilities will include a gym.
The bedrooms and suites at Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes will all feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Milton Keynes. They will be equipped with the latest in-room technology such as an Ultra HD television and ultra-fast wi-fi.
Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes will have 14,000 sq-ft of meeting and events space with ten meeting rooms all with natural daylight and equipped with the latest meeting technology. Four of the rooms will convert into a banqueting space which opens onto a private roof terrace.
Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes is located in the heart of Milton Keynes with good transport links. The M1 motorway is a 5-minute drive and London Luton Airport 30 minutes away.

Boudoir Hotel about to open in Liverpool
Urbanista Hotel Liverpool which first opened in the city centre in November 2019 before closing three months later as a result of the Covid lockdown is now set to reopen. The hotel will relaunch at the end of November with an upgrade and a rebrand.
Now known as the Boudoir Hotel, it will have 17 bedrooms and suites comprising kings, doubles, quads and larger suites that sleep up to eight. All rooms are furnished with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a private bathroom with a shower, tea and coffee making facilities and free wi-fi. Two of the rooms come with their own private courtyard.
Boudoir Hotel is located in Bold Street in the RopeWalks district of Liverpool.

Leonardo opens in Chester
The new Leonardo Hotel Chester has just opened in the centre of Chester. It is the latest addition to the Jury Inns portfolio of UK hotels.
Leonardo Hotel Chester has 94 bedrooms each equipped with a flat screen LCD TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, mini fridge and free wi-fi.
Corvo Bar & Restaurant serves food and drink throughout the day.
Leonardo Hotel Chester is located in Pepper Street within easy walking distance of the city’s sights and station.

The Gantry London opens
The Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton has just opened in London Stratford.
The Gantry is a new design-led hotel with 291 bedrooms and suites and features an all-day restaurant plus an 18th floor sky bar which is scheduled to open spring 2022. The main dining room at The Gantry is ‘Union Social’ with a cocktail bar and open kitchen plus floor to ceiling windows.
The Gantry hotel sits above The Stratford Grocer & Co, a busy food market, deli and coffee shop on the ground floor which is set to open fully by mid-January 2022. There are currently no meeting and events facilities available at the hotel.
The Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton is well located directly in front of Stratford International station. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home to the Olympic Stadium and Westfield Stratford City shopping mall are both a five minute walk away.

New owners at The Belfry
Goldman Sachs Asset Management have just acquired the Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield on the outskirts of Birmingham.
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is a world-renowned venue principally because of its three world class golf courses including The Brabazon and PGA National and for hosting the Ryder Cup in the past.
The new owners are planning an upgrade to the hotel facilities and well as enhancing the leisure facilities within the hotel’s 550-acre estate.
The Belfry Hotel & Resort currently has over 300 luxurious bedrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars, extensive events and meetings spaces, a leisure club and The Belfry Spa.
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is on ‘our doorstep’ here in Sutton Coldfield. We wait with interest to see what Goldman Sachs Asset Management plan to do at the hotel – and we will report back accordingly.

First Curio Collection by Hilton coming to the Square Mile
Lost Property St. Paul’s London, Curio Collection by Hilton will be the first Curio Collection by Hilton hotel to open in London’s Square Mile when it opens next year. It will be Hilton’s third Curio Collection in London joining: The Trafalgar St James London, Curio Collection by Hilton and 100 Queen’s Gate London, Curio Collection by Hilton.
The unusually named Lost Property St Paul’s London, Curio Collection by Hilton hotel will be a six-storey, 145 bedroom and suites hotel located 100 metres west of St. Paul’s Cathedral boasting views across the City of London. The building’s Grade II-listed façade is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment to preserve its architectural heritage.
